Chapter Eight :: Video [Backdated to EARLY MORNING]

[When the feed clicks on everything is quiet and it's dark, but still light enough from the glow of the PDA to see what is being done to a one (1) Allen Walker.

Someone has in their hands a black marker and is scribbling pictures and some words on the young Exorcist's face. There's a smiling sun in one spot and a tree in another, some "open" eyes on the closed eyelids, maybe something that more closely resembles a beansprout? One of the words scribbled looks like 'debts' or something of that nature.

A quiet laugh and the feed ends, but anyone familiar with him at all will recognize it as Lavi's voice.]

[Oh, he's had his own few spots of bad luck before. It might not be Allen's though it might be it as well. Depends on exactly how much time they've spent around one another.

It's the best he could come up with on the spot and at least he does well to keep the look of fear and of being caught red-handed off of his face. Won't believe him if he says he was trying to keep you from falling off the bed as he tried to wake you?

Probably fell asleep with them on, though it's not unusual for him to wear them to bed these days. Always ready to go at a moment's notice, this one.

Truth be told, he's not put off by the actual doodling so much as the fact that the entire network probably saw this, so Lavi might've gotten off with an elbow to the gut until, well, until he threw Tim at Allen. Clearly no one from their world has any survival instincts.

Have an undignified squawk as both boy and golem reel from the impact― Then turn as one to fix Lavi with matching dark looks of ruin. Tim's a golem, and Allen, er, remember that figuratively thick skull of his? Turns out it also happens to be quite literal. One cannot survive an apprenticeship with Cross Marian otherwise, but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt.

[He-hey! What happened to all the trust? Where has it gone? ;A; Surely he hasn't lost it to five minutes of foolishness! It was built up over a year! That's not fair!

But how does Allen know that the network saw it? He could have just done it and was going to snap a picture for his wallpaper! ...It was a distraction. Really he hadn't meant for the two to connect (okay, maybe a little but...) it had happened anyway. /o/ None at all!
